Welcome to Ouzo and Sangria
Why the name ouzo and sangria?
We decided to select something that most of us will remember from Spain and Greece, among many of the choices we selected Ouzo and Sangria.

Hi, my name is Borge Karlsson,
I have travelled and lived in Greece, Spain. More than 50 years ago I started to work for the Swedish holiday company Vingresor [now called Ving ] in Rhodes, Greece. Great memories I worked and meet some fantastic and lovely people over the years.
Package holidays were relatively new in the 1960s, but oh boy it did open up many countries, resorts and cities affordable for many of us to visit.
Unfortunately, 60 years later you find out that many places we visited now have a problem that they are overcrowded, in some cases the number of visitors are restricted and or charged for visit. Who would have thought of that in the early days.
Well, it is nice to have been part of the massive offer of travel opportunities that "opened up" 60 years ago. Once travel bitten... so I decided to start a travel site/blog and here I am. Join me with your comments or add your travel story.
