Milos main village is Plaka. Located in an elevated position with wonderful views over the Aegean Sea. Plaka is an old settlement with the typical Cycladic architecture that we all admire, whitewashed houses with blue doors and windows. Narrow lanes, many tavernas, bars, and shops selling local products and souvenirs. Plaka is busy in the high season and its difficult to find parking space. A local bus is available. Plaka accommodation (Windmills, Hotels, Apartments, and Villas) is well spread outside Plaka mostly in Trypiti area. Best for families with teenage children and couples.
