The Psathi port and the Choria/Chore (islands capital) are linked by an easily negotiable slightly uphill road for about 1500 meters. Chora itself is a rather pretty unspoiled, island village with a dominating “cathedral” with the usual large dome. There is a fairly new Archaeological Museum which is worth a visit. However, the big attraction is the old fortress Kastro a younger version of the better-known example on Antiparos. (Kastro is a strong rectangular fortification wall lined with apartments that face into a central courtyard area, each with its own external staircase).Kimolos less travelled island
Rema protected by the wind, it features a giant rock and “ sirmata ” (caves carved into the rock where locals keep their boats during winter). You can walk to Rema beach from the Windmill Hotel.
Prassa this beach features a beach bar with music (2016) and is the most popular of the beaches on the island. It has natural beauty with white sand and light blue water. At the entrance are healing baths, with set opening times.
Aliki, Bonatsa, Kalamitsi these beaches are clustered together and all feature clean, shallow waters with numerous tavernas and some accommodation nearby.

The Gerakia Cave An exotic cave with wonderful turquoise waters that can be explored. It is reachable by sea taxi as part of an island tour.
Polyaigos Island visit the island of Polyaigos (the island of goats) the largest uninhabited island of the Aegean Sea. Several pristine beaches and wonderfully clear water.

Skiadi visits, a huge mushroom-shaped rock, carved by the wind, in the middle of the island, a Geological Monument of the Aegean Sea. Skiadi “mushroom” is a unique geological phenomenon of which the island’s inhabitants are very proud.

Visit the picturesque fishing village/hamlet of Goupa with the “sirmata” (caves carved in the smooth rock, where they keep the boats).
Something to eat try the popular local dish Ladenia The bread pizza like the dish is simple and is made with tomatoes, onion, and olive oil, this is known locally as Ladenia.
Milaki Rooms is located 400 meters from the port of Psathi. Approximately 350 meters to Chorio village, post office, pharmacy, bakeries, cafes, tavernas, bars, mini markets, and a few shops. Psathi port beach is the nearest, 400 meters.
The Windmill Hotel dates from 1852 and remains one of the few traditionally restored windmills in Greece. It has recently been renovated to create an elegant boutique style hotel with modern amenities and facilities, it has five unique comfortable rooms. The Windmill Hotel is located 600 meters from Psathi port and beach and 550 meters to Choria/Chora Village.
