Naxos Island is the largest island of the Cyclades.

Naxos town Hora has many monuments dating back to different historical periods. Old Hora, featuring narrow streets, boutiques, tavernas and the Venetian Castle.

Portara (image) a significant landmark is located at the harbour entrance. Hora is a “lively” and enjoyable town and it’s easily discovered on foot

Naxos landscape differs compared with Paros, high mountains, mountainous villages with its own charisma and character, like Filoti and Apeiranthos, part of the Tragaea vast plain region.

Mountain biking is popular as well as the ramblers walk towards the top of Mount Zas, just over 1,000 meters, actually the highest mountain in the Cyclades.
